Hasbro’s MY LITTLE PONY Franchise Invites Fans around the Globe to Celebrate the Magic of                                                                Friendship

           The Global Brand Commemorates International Day of Friendship on
July 30th with Engaging Digital Experiences, Fun Snapchat Lenses, and Family Friendly Events

Celebration Also Includes Release of Product Line Inspired by Characters & Adventures from Upcoming Lionsgate Release of MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE

    With more than 30 years of rich storytelling founded in the values of kindness and acceptance, the MY LITTLE PONY franchise from Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) continues to illustrate the power of friendship and fun that resonates with fans around the world. To celebrate this year’s International Day of Friendship on July 30th, the MY LITTLE PONY franchise is kicking off a global social movement with the release of two beautiful video montages and on-ground events around the world that focus on the socially relevant message of friendship.

   Launching on July 30th in the U.S., Hasbro will support a weeklong custom Snapchat Lens that brings the Mane 6 right to the Snapchat community. Lenses offer Snapchatters the ability to apply real-time effects and sounds to their selfies – the Mane 6 will become part of the communication on Snapchat in an interactive, fun, and personal way. In this case, Hasbro is supporting an interactive World Lens – when users flip their camera away from their face to the rear-facing lens, the Ponies’ homeland of Equestria appears. Users can move their camera around to see their favorite characters brought to life on their device.

    Making the most of International Day of Friendship, the MY LITTLE PONY brand is also hosting friendship day events around the world in 12 different markets including the United States, Italy, Brazil, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Russia, Mexico and Singapore. In the U.S., every pony is invited to the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN to enjoy a “Celebration of Friendship” featuring multiple experiential MY LITTLE PONY themed events. Fans in Italy, Taiwan and Singapore will celebrate friendship with fitness as Friendship Runs are planned in all three markets. In Brazil, everypony will celebrate Dia Da Amizade with an outdoor event and Friendship Bus Tour. Generosity is key in the UK, where fans will give the gift of friendship with a special Buy One, Give one promotion in partnership with a local charity and BFF accessories designers Pop & Suki.

       One of the best parts of the New York Toy Fair was the sneak peek of all the fun Hasbro Toys that are coming this year! With licencing like Nerf, Star Wars, Transformers, My Little Pony, and Marvel (just to start with), you will not look far at any local toy store without seeing the word Hasbro on some toy you want to buy!

    If we covered everything we saw at the preview I would literally be writing all day, but I am going to point out some truly noteworthy items that will be hitting the shelves soon.

   First for all the newbie parents out there the new PLAYSKOOL line is absolutely amazing! The whole line was made to fit into one standard sized diaper bag, and it does- it is easy as Play Stow, GO!  All of our classic baby toys will be in attendance.  There's Stack 'N Stow cups or stacking cups, and Roll 'N Gears Car which is a great gear toy.  Then there's sensory play with the adorable Fold 'N Go Elephant, and the Dressy Kids Plush friends are back with a new look and loops for hanging.  Finally a company is looking for portability as well as functionality and quality.  Hasbro will have the market on these toys when they hit the stores! Aurora My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic! Review

   

     The amazing Aurora toy gift and doll manufacturers released their 2015 My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic line, based on the great revamped Hasbro TV series. There are 12 new styles for six of the popular ponies- each character is available in the 6.5 inch style or the medium 13 inch style.  Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Rarity, Fluttershy Princess, Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna and Spike The Dragon have all been given a makeover that even Rarity would approve of (yeah I watch the show- wanna fight about it? Lol)
   These brand new plush toys have all new brush-able hair, sparkling with Mylar accents that make me envious. The stitching is strong and hardly seen, which is just one sign of the high quality.  As for the  beautifully embroidered "cutie "on their rump and beautiful eyes- they are perfection.  A product like this is very difficult to review because there are literally no flaws- none.  I have searched to find one slight defect, one stitch out of place- I have thrown them across the room, I have pulled at them to the point that any mediocre plush would be destroyed, and they will not bend. I even messed up their hair (do not tell my mom!) and then brushed them back into perfection.  I am telling you guys this job is hard, but one thing is for sure Aurora has made a quality product that goes way above par.  They are exact replicas of the characters from the show,  they can take a "lickin n keep on tickin" and with the brush-able mane they will look like new after any day of play.
     This is a no brainier buy for anyone looking for a special gift for the My Little Pony fan or, for that matter- a Bronie!  Not familiar with the characters? Hasbro Must Haves From The NYTF Show Case!

    
     Oh Hasbro how do I love thee. With amazing brands like Furby, Marvel, Mr. Potato Head, My Little Pony, Star Wars, Playskool, and so much more how can I even begin to tell you about all the awesome that is about to blow up the stores this 2014! I was invited to attend the Hasbro Showroom and I had a blast. With celebrities like Mr. Potato Head and Rescue Bot Heatwave, I was completely star struck. But even better than the celebrities were the products! WOW we have a lot to cover.

      First I am going to introduce you to the Marvel Mashers, by far one of my favorite toys. These Marvel super heroes come apart and you can mix and match them to each other- letting you create the ultimate superhero! Just imagine Spiderman with the strength of the Hulk, or the Hammer of Thor. That would be a force to reckon with I tell you! Each hero is $14.99 and there are seven figures available right now. Also available right now are the Super Hero Mashers Electronic, featuring tons of weapons that make noise! Also coming to the line will be Figure and Vehicle combo packs, Villains and Transformers Mashers.
