[NEW YORK, New York, June 30, 2016] – July 1st marks the official opening of the all new Ghostbusters Experience exclusively at Madame Tussauds New York, made possible through a collaboration with Sony Pictures, Ghost Corps and THE VOID.  Created in advance of the highly anticipated movie Ghostbusters, in theaters July 15, the new experience is a fully immersive, authentic and multi-sensory space where guests are not only able to interact with Madame Tussauds’ newest figures, but also enter an authentic physical environment that brings the Ghostbusters story to life with an epic Hyper-Reality finale.

Madame Tussauds NYC Is Going 007 For A Limited time!

 

     Starting Tuesday, March 22nd, the Times Square attraction will welcome a travelling exhibition of not one, but SIX James Bond figures. Madame Tussauds’ 007 travelling set provides an opportunity for fans of the timeless franchise to interact with the figures of Daniel Craig, Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosna.   Visitors must hurry to the attraction for their chance to join the 007 gang, as the set will head to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas this summer.

     To help their visitors celebrate the Bonds, Madame Tussauds New York will offer a 50% off promotion off the price of admission for the duration of the figures’ stay in New York.  Poker chips will be handed out by the attraction’s staff on 42nd street and in Times Square-- any visitor who asks for a chip and shows it at admissions, will receive their half-off ticket!

    The attraction is going all-out for the arrival of James Bond: not only are the street, door and admissions teams wearing tuxedos, but visitors in the attraction can also purchase Bond’s favorite cocktail, "a medium dry martini, lemon peel. Shaken, not stirred,” at two separate bars in the attraction.  Guests planning their visit ahead of time can pre-purchase a “007 package” on Madame Tussauds’ website, which will include a complimentary martini (or virgin martini) with the price of admission.

Wizard Of Oz Meets Madame Tussauds

     "New York, NY [August 20, 2014] – Madame Tussauds New York will pay homage to the 75th Anniversary of the classic film The Wizard of Oz by rolling out a yellow brick road in Times Square with the wax figure of Judy Garland on Thursday, August 21st at 11:00 a.m. in the heart of Times Square (on Broadway between 45th & 46th Streets).

     With the help of Judy Garland’s spot-on wax figure as Dorothy Gale, visitors will be invited to “follow the yellow brick road” to the attraction. Following its Times Square appearance, for a limited time visitors will be invited to interact with Judy Garland’s wax figure and stroll along the yellow brick road in the lobby of the attraction. The Times Square event will also kick off a special, limited time Madame Tussauds New York discount redeemable at http://thewizardofoz.warnerbros.com.
