New Guitar Hero is Bringing Forth The Rock with Release and Playable Concerts!

'

November 4, 2015 – Following the launch of Guitar Hero Live, players have rocked out to over 200 songs in GHTV, the world’s first playable music video network. Today, Activision and FreeStyleGames kick off a regular series of GHTV content additions that will be accessible to players who purchased the game free of charge, growing the already extensive library with new music on a regular basis. By the end of the year, over 70 new songs will be added to the platform and accessible by all players. In celebration of the new content, Activision is giving all Guitar Hero Live players free on-demand access to the entire GHTV catalogue throughout the whole weekend, starting Friday at 4am PT.

This week in GHTV, Guitar Hero Live introduces the following:

·         Black Veil Brides Premium Show, which includes playable footage from the band’s live concert DVD “Alive and Burning,” will be live on Friday. The DVD chronicles the band’s first ever recorded live performance during their successful Black Mass Tour in November 2014 at the legendary Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Three of the songs from the DVD will be playable in GHTV, including “Heart of Fire (Live)”, “Fallen Angels (Live)” and “In the End (Live).”
·         Legendary Headliners Premium Show, including “Monster” by Paramore, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” by Fall Out Boy and “First Date” by Blink-182 is live now.
·         Pop Goes GHTV Premium Show, featuring “Chocolate” by The 1975, “Believer” by American Authors and “Budapest” by George Ezra is live now.

In the coming weeks, fans can look forward to even more music, including playable concert footage and music videos from Judas Priest, Iggy Pop, Bully, Leon Bridges, Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Rival Sons, St. Vincent, Alice in Chains, System of a Down, Bring Me the Horizon and many more.

In general, new playable music will arrive in GHTV first as Premium Shows. To access most Premium Shows, players can complete the in-game challenge of achieving at least three stars on three different tracks in the GHTV channels or in the catalogue. And, by playing a Premium Show, players have the chance to earn in-game prizes such as status and coin boosts, unique player cards or note highways to show off their rockstar status online. Generally, after a Premium Show ends, the songs will be added to the on-demand catalogue, and then they will enter the regular channel rotation.

Players should be on the lookout for ongoing GHTV news to stay on top of all the latest music being added to Guitar Hero Live by visiting www.guitarhero.com, www.facebook.com/GuitarHero, www.youtube.com/guitarhero, or by following @guitarhero on Twitter and Instagram.

Guitar Hero Live is available now on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U™ console as well as iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

The Amazing Zhus Product Review!

                `

The Amazing Zhus!  You have seen the commercial and I know what you are thinking; are they really that cool?  Well we got to throw a Magical Meet Up where we had ten kids to help answer that question and the answer is, "Yes, yes they are that cool."  Our Cepia and Mom Select sponsored party gave us a unique opportunity to have a bunch of kids try out the Amazing Zhus and to see how they reacted to one of the top toys to have this holiday season.

We had a magic themed party with tiny magic hats filled with chex mix, magic wands and the magic fortune telling fish.  The sample products we received were two stunt mice, a boy and a girl, and one magician mouse complete with his wand.  We also received the magic shell game and the amazing Zhus High Dive!

Tiggly Counts Review

There are countless apps available that help your child to learn math. Some of them are great, others not so much, but none of them are Tiggly.  The Tiggly learning system combines a physical "toy" with beautifully designed apps. Now you may be thinking "does an app really need physical objects to play it"?  The technical answer is no.  The games are free to download and play  even without the pieces you can play- but your child is missing out.

For the sake of this review we played all three of the Tiggly games with and without the pieces.  Without the pieces the apps are still fun well made learning apps- however they are just tapping the screen a number of times to count up to the number asked.  There is no real challenge or comprehensive thinking- heck they don't even need to count they can just tap the screen a million times until they get the right number. Fun for about one second and one go around with the game.
With the brightly colored number spaced rods, the wheels in your child's brain starts to turn.  In my son's favorite game, Tiggly Chef, this hot headed culinary genius needs a certain amount of ingredients to make his culinary masterpieces!  It's your child's job to not only make sure that they add the right ingredients- but the right number of the item as well. Rods in hand my son hears Chef say "add eight shrimp" he swipes the screen until he sees the shrimp appear and by sights knows if it is four or eight on the screen- he usually gets it right too, smart little bugger.  Then he will choose which numbered

PBS KIDS® AND WHOLE FOODS MARKET® PARTNER TO ROLL OUT ASSORTMENT

OF SUSTAINABLE TOYS IN TIME FOR HOLIDAY SEASON

Proceeds from toy sales will directly support the development of children’s educational media and Whole Kids Foundation

Arlington, VA, October 30, 2014 – PBS KIDS and Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) announced a partnership today that will bring PBS KIDS’ line of educational and earth-friendly toys exclusively to the supermarket’s customers this holiday season. Starting this week, gift givers can find the PBS KIDS toy line, including classic wooden toys and soft plush animals, at Whole Foods Markets nationwide in the retailer’s Whole Body department.

PBS KIDS’ new line of products is designed to inspire creative curiosity, while supporting the development of healthy, happy kids. One-hundred percent of PBS KIDS’ net proceeds will benefit the media brand’s mission of empowering children through knowledge, critical thinking and imagination, while Whole Foods Market will donate one percent of total sales, up to $25,000, to Whole Kids Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving children’s nutrition and wellness.

“We are excited to work with Whole Foods Market on a program that fosters our shared commitment to education and child development, while giving holiday shoppers an opportunity to give a more meaningful type of gift this holiday season,” said Lesli Rotenberg, general manager, children’s programming, PBS. “Open-ended play is an integral part of a young child’s development, and the new PBS KIDS toy line provides children with the opportunity to explore and learn in a safe and fun way.”

Appropriate for young children ages six months to three years, the PBS KIDS toy line features: race cars made from recycled milk bottles; colorful, wooden vehicles assembled by hand from local wood in Vermont; shape sorters (recently named a National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) silver award winner) and stackers that inspire a love for fruits and veggies; super soft plush animals made with phthalate- and PVC-free materials; and organic t-shirts and infant onesies with vintage designs.

Each item in the PBS KIDS toy line is made with safe, non-toxic materials and inks, and all packaging is made from recycled materials. Many of the toys are produced in the USA from sustainable materials, responsibly harvested from local communities.

“PBS KIDS is known for creating fun, educational content that encourages kids to learn by exploring the world around them,” said Jeanne Tamayo, Whole Foods Market’s global lifestyle buyer. “And that's the exact goal behind this new line of toys — to help our shoppers find new, exciting ways to teach their children through play. Whole Foods Market is proud to offer these toys to families exclusively this holiday season."

In addition to finding the new line of PBS KIDS toys at Whole Foods Markets nationwide, consumers can purchase products online at shop.pbskids.com.
