There are a wonderful set of books- that have been released by writer Marcia Goldman, which follows the adventures of a spunky dog named Lola. Lola is a beautiful Terrier goes on adventures like "Lola Goes to Work, Lola Goes to School, Lola and Tattletale Zeke and Lola Goes To The Doctor". Each story is written in such a way that all children three and up can easily relate too. The series features actual photographs- instead of illustrations, that give the children a visual to follow along with the story. My son, as well as my niece both though it was a hoot.
