CamelBack Beach: Mummy's Oasis Reveal and Review!

CamelBack Beach is just a mere five minutes from the CamelBack Resort and is a great addition to your summer fun! Besides being an amazing waterpark, Camelback beach as the added bonus of being a waterpark in the mountain’s! Giving it amazing views all over the park, as well as tons of water filed fun!
We were invited for the day as well as the unveiling of their new child friend area Mummy's Oasis! This new attraction is designed specifically for the younger attendees of the park. With only six inches of water, they can safely run all around the fortress, while getting squirted by numerous sprinklers, bubbles, geysers, water wheels and cannons!  There is even a pint sized dumping bucket that goes off every 45 seconds and gets you and your family soaked with the 1,000 gallons of water it dumps out. Yea, 1,0000 gallons is considered pint sized at Camelback!  This ride was approved by the kids who not only spent a good part of the morning there, but went back for more over and over again! What a great addition to what I learned was a wonderful water park.

CamelBack Resort! A Great Place For The Whole Family

We were invited to spend the night at CamelBack Resort to indulge ourselves in all the amenities that this amazing resort has to offer. Located in the Poconos- the fun does not end when the snow does because at CamelBack Resort you literally have everything at your fingertips!
The lobby is gorgeous with high ceilings and a library feel to its decor which instantly welcomes you while still giving you that " in awe " factor the moment you check in. If you plan on not leaving the resort valet parking is available- but you can also park your own car. As I am a wanderer I chose the latter. The room we checked into has two queen sized beds-with a rustic dark wood headboard that is attached to the wall itself. There is a refrigerator and microwave available to use in the foe marble out-cove.  The sink and mirror that are outside of the bathroom itself and next to the refrigerator and also decorated in that for marble.  The room is long and spacious and includes a
small two seater wood table couch and coffee table. There is amble room to hang your cloths in the

Aquatopia Is Well Worth A Visit at Camelback Resort!

The Aquatopia indoor waterpark at CamelBack Resort is pretty awesome guys. Yeah that is how I am starting this review, because there is no beating around the bush. Attached directly to the CamelBack Resort this indoor water park sports a year round 84-degree haven, that has a wave pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub, lazy river, and 13 water slides that will keep every age of child (and yes that includes adults) occupied!

The water park is right off of the main lobby and one floor down. You walk through the kiddie arcade flash your wrist band and walk into a wonderfully warm and vibrate tropical environment.  The ceiling is fully windowed, letting in natural light- so yes as my skin can tell you today-
sunscreen is needed. It also gives you the feel that you are outside without actually having to be outside- one of my favorite kind of feelings. There are several different areas in the park, that have an array of different of entertainment. When you walk in you will see the Combora Flowrider, which is a simulated surfing and boogie boarding experience- it is a blast- literally

The Spa At Mt. Airy: Review

                                            The Spa At Mt. Airy

While staying at Mt Airy Lodge and Casino I was invited to partake in a luxury massage at The Spa at Mt. Airy. Yea like I was going to say no to that. Right off the main lobby and across from the pool is the reception for the spa. You check into your appointment and then head into the spas retail room and take the elevator down one floor and enter total bliss. There is a gorgeous fountain and comfy chairs in the reception room, which then leads you into the main spa.
There you get your own pass-code safe locker to put your things in. There is a comfy robe and sandals given to you which you walk to the changing room across the way to put on.  After you are changed you are walked into the ladies’ lounge where chaise lounges await you along with cucumber water, tea and all the trashy magazines you want. It is here you wait to be called into your appointment and it is here you can lounge afterwards as well.
I was treated to the Mt. Airy Signature Massage which was so good I may have melted into the massage bed. I had a choice of three essential oils which were mixed with body buttercream and was treated to a head to toe massage from Carolina. She was Amazing! The room was filled with calming music, heated bed, aroma from the oils, which put you instantly at ease.  The expert hands of Carolina made me forget that I ever had a headache, or neck pain in my life. I was in heaven for the full 55 minutes. However, the relaxation did not stop there. After my massage, I headed to the sauna, and scented steam room before enjoying a rainfall shower. Yea that shower needs to be installed in my house yesterday.  There was a bathroom and area to blow dry your hair, put on deodorant and put yourself back together before going back to the real world as well. All included with whatever spa service you enjoyed.
Tranquil music filled the whole spa, and you could enjoy the services provided within the spa for as long as you want which was wonderful. There was no rushing you in and out nor were there gossiping employees that I have found at other spas. This was truly a relaxing experience in a clean and well maintained spa.

The services range from massages to mani pedis, facials, body scrubs and more. All range in prices and all worth every dollar if what you are looking for is experienced staff, tranquil environment and an afternoon free of the hussel and bussel of life.

** I was given this massage for review however all opinions are my own.

Bistecca by IL MULINO: Review

                                          :

If you are looking for a fantastic gourmet meal during your stay at Mt. Airy Lodge look no further than Bistecca by IL MULINO. Located right off the casino floor- you will find no better steak in NYC or the North Shore. A true steakhouse you have your classic cuts, from skirt steak to a porterhouse they are all aged and served with delicious sauces- like bĂ©arnaise, or a green peppercorn cognac sauce (yum!).
If steak isn't your thing they have wonderful pasta dishes fresh clams, lobster and a lineup of specials offered every night. We tried the Burrata appetizer which is a seemingly a ball of mozzarella but it is so much more. This is a fresh mozzarella ball that they fill with cheese curd and warm cream so when it sets it makes a creamy center, one bite of this you are instantly transported to heaven. Seriously guys if you have a chance to try it do it- do not think twice just do it.
