Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has been one of the best water parks in the area since it’s opening. It is a perfect sized water park, not too big and not too small. With ten rides, including the wave pool, lazy river and one huge kid area called Discovery Bay, you can easily walk through the park and hit every ride without killing yourself. Every single ride is supported by on-point life guards that were in the midst of their training during our visit. You and your family can relax because they have you covered, and the only danger you will be in is thrills and chills when you slide down one of the monster slides!
Now with the opening of Caribbean cove- the park just got even better! Caribbean Cove has everything to keep your kids happy and amble seating for parents to just lay back and relax.
This area has over 55 interactive features for the wee ones to play with, including spray nozzles, jets and valves. There is also a two story high dump bucket that goes off every few minutes that gives the whole family the ultimate splash experience! There are two lifeguards on duty- one monitoring the slide and one keeping an eye on the two foot deep beach entry pool area so your children are well looked after during their play. This also makes It easy for you to just watch them play instead of trudging into the water area yourself, giving the parents a nice retreat from all the fun that keeps the kids going but also wears us old people down.
Like everything else in this park this is a perfect attraction, that keeps fun safety and convenience in mind. I really do love Hurricane Harbor, and I know that each time we go we will have a great time- this addition is just an icing on the cake for me!
Oh and do not forget after your done playing in the water turn in your ticket at the Six Flags Great Adventure for even more fun and a half price ticket! Does it get better than that! I think not!
• We were invited to Hurricane Harbor to review the grand opening- however all opinions are our own- if we do not like it we do not write about it!
