Sorry For the Delay....

Yo Gabba Gabba Cupcake Digital's Newest App

Yo Gabba Gabba- Cupcake Digital's Newest App

This app is HILARIOUS guys.  It is 2:07 am, the only time that I can actually get some work done without cats, kids, and husbands bothering me with their unconditional love and all that nonsense-playing this game by myself, and LOVING IT.

So if your kid is a Yo Gabba Gabba fan- like any kid between the ages of 3 months to thirty years. (Oh yeah me and guest blogger Jen LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba ) they will freak out. The "cover page" of the app is DJ Lance holding the infamous boombox. Hit the play button and it brings you into the magical boombox with a boiste
rous YO GABBA GABBA yell from Sir DJ Lance. There you see all your favorite characters; Muno, Foofa, Plex, Brobi, and Tooti.  Dj Lance announces that it is "Time to eat"... I think you know where this is going.

Click each character and be brought into their Yo Gabba Gabba world. There surrounded in their own environment you will see the character and a thought bubble of what food they would like to eat. What comes next is being able to interact with one of the most infamous of all YGG songs.  That's right folks "THERES A PARTY IN MY TUMMY" (so yummy so yummy). Tap them and they will say "My name is.." and say they like to dance. The trees, rock and ice have eyes and blink in the background.  When you hit the food bubble it brings you into a kitchen area, where you see DJ Lance's hand pop in with ingredients to make the food with. Place all the food on the bowl after he hands it to you. Muno tells you each ingredient that is used and then presto chango a meal is presented! And these gabbas eat everything from oats and yogurt to sushi- these monsters have eclectic taste buds!
After you mix up the food you are brought back to the Gabba's World and you feed them two heaping spoonfulls as the food says "I want to go to the party." After the Gabba is well fed you get into a screen shot of their belly (my favorite is clearly Plex's mechanical belly) where you place the food in the matching spots in the stomach like a puzzle. When you fill all four spots up, it breaks into song "there's a party in my tummy so yummy so yummy"-SCENE.

I have only seen one other YGG app and it was awful, seriously bad- It was not in the least entertaining for any kid of any age and I completely wasted my money (well actually I complained and Amazon gave it back to me but you know what I am saying.) That my friend is why CD rocks. They take an amazingly catchy song that is fun for the whole family and let your kids interact with it. This- like all the apps I have reviewed for them is well worth the money and is why CD is becoming a known name in the kid app industry.
Thanks guys for letting me review this for you, and keep the hits coming!

*I was given a code to review this app, however as always all opinons are my own. If I don't like it, I don't write about it!
